FYI, pH1N1 is the most prevalent flu now circulating widely in Maine (every county reporting some activity) and is primarily impacting children and young adults.  There is still time to vaccinate children against the flu.  This year’s vaccine appears to be a good match for the strains circulating.  Protection begins in approximately 10 days from injection.
